Section 73 Applications

Applications for a Section 73 Certificate can be made through a licensed Water Servicing Coordinator (WSC). Applications for an adjustment or extension to Sydney Water assets or for a permanent road closure must also be made through a coordinator. We can answer questions about your application on behalf of Sydney Water. We can also facilitate the project management, design and construction of required works.

Burton and Field is listed as an approved supplier of services to Sydney Water as designers of sewer, potable and recycled water main extensions and adjustments in the categories of S1, S2, W1, W2, RW and project managers in S1, S2, W1, W2 and R2 categories.

Building Plan Approvals

As a Water Servicing Coordinator, Burton and Field will accept building plans for approval and stamping following an application made through Sydney Water TapIn. If the assessment made by the Sydney Water TapIn Application reveals that Sydney Water's assets may be affected by the proposed building works, you will be referred to a Water Servicing Coordinator.
